Changing the world with science and technology is very hard.
Persistence is needed.
An Indian researcher has succeeded in replicating the levitation of an LK99 sample on his third major attempt. Others want to quit right away and dismiss what could be or could lead to the biggest scientific breakthrough of the century.
Tesla constant drive for improvement could pay off by doubling or tripling sales of a new Model 3. The new model could cut costs and prices by 15%.
Join Brian Wang and Randy Kirk as we discuss LK99 superconducting scientific progress and the economic progress of the new Tesla Model 3.
Both successes have to overcome doubters, quitters and haters.
Thin Film Superconductivity is Critical
Whether LK-99 is superconductor mainly hinges on it having zero resistivity and the work getting confirmed and replicated. This zero resistance was shown in data at a material science conference in Korea on July 27, 2023.

The paper did not claim superconducting resistance in bulk samples. They claimed it for the thin films.
Tesla Steady Progress to Lower Cost EVs- New Model 3 Could be 15% Cheaper
The new China Model 3 could be very close to an unsubsidized $25k car. It will be about $27.7k.
