We can all benefit from some knowledge on how to code. Programmers, needless to say, are coders to their core. And so they need to know an ever-growing collection of coding languages, and they certainly need to know the foundational, most popular languages as early as possible. Non-programmers, but programming-adjacent professionals like entrepreneurs, designers and marketers should also learn as much code as possible. The more you know, the less you have to pay others to do for you.

One example of a language that any of the above professionals should start with, Python is easy to learn, intuitive, and widely used for building applications, websites, and projects around the world. If you’re skeptical at all about how much money goes into hiring programmers, either as a potential employer or programmer yourself, just scroll through the Python Programmer Jobs for Canada on Indeed, of which there are currently over 5,300 listed.

If you decide that 2022 is the year that you’re finally going to learn Python, it will set you on a long journey that will improve your work output, decrease your need for outside programming support and possibly open up a world of creative possibilities.
