Cryptocurrency derivatives exchange BitMEX opens new office in Vancouver

BitMEX, the popular cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, today announced a geographical expansion by opening up a new office in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Initially, BitMEX reports that the office will operate with around 20 employees across a diverse range of functions, and intends to grow its headcount over time.

We have kicked off our hiring process for open roles, and are looking forward to demonstrating our commitment to innovating responsibly and investing in our employees.”

Back in late October, BitMEX also made public its plans to expand its group presence to Switzerland. The Switzerland office will be home to BitMEX Link, a brokerage for trading crypto-assets.
