remained gloomy over business conditions for a third straight

month in March, the Reuters Tankan showed on Thursday, while

non-manufacturers’ sentiment rebounded in a sign of revival in

post-COVID activity.

The Reuters Tankan, which closely tracks the Bank of Japan’s

quarterly ‘tankan’ survey, canvassed 493 big non-financial

firms, of which 252 responded during the March 8-17 survey

period.
